Raw Materials Beginning To Stabilise
Since the beginning of the year plastic raw materials have substantially increased in price with availability being quite low.
Now half way through the year, with the COVID-19 pandemic starting to come under control in the UK, commodity type plastics have begun to plateau in price while availability has significantly improved, though engineering type plastics are still increasing in price albeit at a slower rate.
This stabilisation of material prices will enable us at Bowles and Walker to work with our customers and suppliers to make firm agreements about supply of materials and price of products without having to constantly change our prices.
At Bowles and Walker we feel that prices will continue to stabilise as the year continues and will only start to drop by the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022.
