In 2016 Bowles and Walker began to aid customers by helping them to reshore several plastic injection moulding tools from abroad back to the UK. The recent pandemic has yet again highlighted the need for greater reshoring.

After a short residence at Bowles and Walker, our new Borche 400T plastic injection moulding machine is running at full capacity! It has been fitted in to our production schedule and will be running solidly for the next few weeks with further production runs already being planned.

Since the COVID-19 restrictions began to loosen in March, and with the re-opening of shops and recreational activities in April we have started to see an upturn in plastic injection moulding orders from our customers.

Plastic injection moulding production, as well as many other sources of plastics, and its inappropriate disposal have become one of the big environmental issues of modern society.

Our new 400T Borche plastic injection moulding machine has been delivered and commissioned at Bowles and Walker.
